Pitmuies Gardens

Two semi-formal walled gardens adjoin the 18th century house and shelter long borders of herbaceous perennials, superb delphiniums, old fashioned roses and pavings with violas and dianthus. Spacious lawns, river, lochside and woodland walks beneath fine trees. There is a wide variety of shrubs with good autumn colour and an interesting picturesque turreted doocot and ‘Gothick’ wash house. Myriad spring bulbs include carpets of crocus following the massed snowdrops.
