Newton of Fothringham is a farm with a difference. In the peaceful, idyllic setting of rural Angus, 5 miles North of Dundee and only 2 miles from the A90 lies the traditional, working, family run farm that offers not just a well-deserved break in the farmhouse bed and breakfast or self catering cottage, but memories to last a life time with hands on farm experiences and alpaca walking.

We aim to offer an affordable experience which will inspire both young and old, allowing our family to share their farming life with your family.  Our authentic farm tour experience on a real working Angus farm with the farmer is a truly unique opportunity to find out what daily life is like on a Scottish farm throughout the year.  The tour involves meeting our friendly animals including our hens, ducks, cows, sheep, goats, alpacas & Lucy, the micropig. You may be lucky and feed a lamb or kid or see a new-born calf take its very first steps to find their Mum. Whilst walking, hear our farming families’ story and learn where your food comes from before you get up close with Farmer Graeme’s big boys toys. Enjoy refreshments and farmhouse home baking. We are dog friendly too!

Our award winning 4* accommodation consists of large, well appointed rooms with ensuite/private facilities and free wifi in our farmhouse B&B and 3 bedroom self catering cottage with wood burning stove.
