Montrose Music Festival is a non-profit charitable organisation which was established in 2008. It is run entirely by volunteers who pool their skills and expertise throughout the year with the aim of producing one of the biggest, free music festivals in Angus at the end of May.

Each year there is a headline act – previous headliners have included The Beach Boys, Madness, Status Quo, Jools Holland, Bryan Adams … to name but a few.

During the weekend, many local and not-so-local music acts perform in various venues throughout Montrose at no cost to the public. The event is always well-attended, with the main attraction being the High Street which has a main stage and a full timetable of performers, and lots of fun family activities going on.

Food stalls are in abundance so there is no need to be hungry!

Come along to Montrose the last weekend in May for a fantastic family time.
